Kitchen & Bath
Marble and granite countertops, islands, vanities, stone walls and floors take daily wear — and most of that damage can be refinished rather than replaced. Send a few photos and we’ll tell you what we see.
(252) 681-8499What we restore
Common problems we’re asked about: etching, stains, water rings, dull areas, scratches, chips, damaged edges, hard-water buildup, worn areas around the sink and an uneven, patchy finish. Most are refinishable, depending on the stone and the damage.

Common problems
Dull rings and marks on marble are usually acid etching from citrus, wine or cleaners — refinishable, not permanent.
Something that soaked into the stone needs the right treatment for the material. A photo helps us tell a stain from an etch.
Sink surrounds and prep areas lose their polish first. Refinishing brings the clarity back.
Depending on depth and stone, scratches can be honed out and chips repaired rather than replaced.
Mineral buildup around faucets and in showers can be treated and the finish restored underneath.
A countertop that looks blotchy or patchy can be refinished to a single, even appearance.
Tile & grout
Deep tile and grout cleaning, grout repair and re-sealing can refresh a kitchen or bath floor without replacing it. We clean and repair existing tile — we do not install new tile floors.

Grout darkens as it absorbs grease, spills and foot traffic, and it can make an otherwise sound floor look tired and neglected. Cleaning, grout repair and re-sealing refresh the floor rather than replacing it.
Prefer less shine?
Honing creates a smooth, matte-to-satin surface without the strong mirror reflection of a polished finish — some clients simply prefer the softer, more understated look. Finish options depend on the specific stone, and the right choice is best confirmed with a quick assessment.
